Processes : a strategic objective
A key step A successful franchise project involves the achievement of key stages, or pivots, around which day-to-day work is organized. The most important is an initial definition of the offer made to future franchisees, anticipating the operating processes.
Advantages
The benefits of anticipating major process choices are multiple. This allows you to:
-
visualize future operations,
-
estimate the time spent on the most time-consuming tasks,
-
optimize them in advance, thus avoiding inappropriate investments,
-
verify the technical, financial, and human feasibility of the project, again to avoid investing in the wrong direction,
-
test the target processes today at the original sites (ideally two original sites),
-
start the operational phase with a reference that can be shared with franchisee candidates, giving the project concrete substance.
A strategic approach It is neither realistic nor desirable to draft a complete and detailed version of the franchisor's offer at this stage, but simply to qualify the essential, strategic elements in order to achieve the objectives mentioned above. To achieve this, it is proposed to use a suitable analysis framework: V.R.I.O (Valorizable, Rare, Inimitable, Organized).
